Homeschool Meet, Greet and Brainstorm

Happy Back to Homeschool!

This event is an opportunity for local homeschooling families to gather and discuss ideas for the coming school year.

There will be families with children ranging in ages from toddling to teens. It will be a good place to meet families who have children in similar age ranges to your own.

Emilie has been thinking of ways to organize ourselves in a coop fashion. Perhaps meeting twice a month regularly with different parents hosting and leading events.

Emilie would also like to discuss the following community events that could be organized this year. Older children and teens could be especially useful to helping to organize and run events.

- Fall harvest festival and bake off

- Lanter Walk

- Christmas market and concert

- Science Fair

- Art Show

And more!

Allow this to percolate before we meet and discuss!

Bring lunch, picnic blankets, soccer and volleyballs etc. 

This is a beautiful park with lots of nature to explore, a play structure and shelter in case of poor weather. Though it looks like the weather will be nice.
